Terms and Conditions

By placing an order on this website with Coffee Direct Australia (CDA), ABN 89 110 678 165, you agree to all our terms and conditions.

CDA means Coffee Direct Australia, www.coffedirect.com.au, “we”, “our” and “us”. Customer means “you”, “your” or the entity placing an order with CDA.

Currency

All prices are in Australian Dollars (A$) and include GST where applicable. Please note that some products supplied by CDA - such as coffee - may not attract GST.

Delivery

CDA packages all its goods in a way that minimises the risk of damage. We only use reputable carries such as Aramex Couriers (formerly known as Fast Way) or Australia Post. The Terms & Conditions of our carriers require you to sign the receipt of the goods as proof of delivery, except where you have specified an “Authority to Leave”. CDA makes every effort to dispatch you ordered goods – Australia wide - on the same or next business day. Delivery of the goods depend on your location and the distance to Sydney despatch centre. Some remote areas may require 5 to 10 business days for delivery. We usually dispatch twice daily, using Fast Way Couriers for morning dispatch and Australia Post for afternoon dispatch. If you require an order urgently, please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate your request by giving your order special attention or priority. We do not accept orders that require International shipping.

Delivery and Charges

Your order’s delivery charges are calculated at check-out and is shown based on your delivery postcode. Delivery charges will vary and CDA may pass on increases the carriers’ base charges without notice. Our aim is to offer the best possible rate. For this reason, we may calculate shipping cost for some areas such as NT, TAS or WA individually. This process will not delay the dispatch of goods. A re-delivery fee may apply if an incorrect delivery address has been supplied.

Disclaimer

Coffee Direct Australia reserves the right at any time and without notice to change the content of its website, Products, Offerings, Prices and its Terms & Conditions. The laws of NSW, Australia govern the relationship between CDA and the Customer. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms and Conditions which will continue in full force and effect. CDA does not store any credit card information. All credit card processing is securely conducted externally to coffeedirect.com.au via Bendigo Bank Payment Gateway.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed by CDA, full payment must be made at the time of ordering. If ordering online, payment must be made by either Credit Card using the secure payment gateway, Direct Deposit or PayPal. All transactions are made in Australian Dollars and some payment systems may attract merchant fee surcharges (Currently, we do not charge merchant fee surcharges, however, we reserve the right to review our merchant fee charges at any time). If ordering by phone or email, payment may be processed by us before or after the dispatching the goods. Pre-approved customers who order by phone or email may pay by Credit Card, Direct Deposit or PayPal.

Pricing

All prices are set at the sole discretion of Coffee Direct Australia and may be changed at any time and without notice. Special pricing may be offered from time to time or to selected customers at CDA sole discretion. All prices are in Australian Dollars (A$) and include GST of 10% where applicable. Please note that some products are exempt from GST. Invoices issued by CDA will list the GST separately. We do not accept orders that require payment in other currencies than Australian Dollars (A$).

Ordering

Our customers may place their orders with us by phone, email or by using our website and its shopping cart facility. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, our Terms & Conditions and our customers’ credentials. CDA– at its sole discretion – may not accept some orders and may refuse entering into a business relationship with some customers or entities. Orders placed online via our shopping cart facility enable us to process your order faster. Orders placed via phone or email require additional manual keying of customer, delivery, payment and payment verification details. To ensure fast and efficient processing of your order please consider online ordering as your preference.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Coffee Direct Australia prides itself on delivering the highest quality goods, to your doorstep in the fastest possible way. Damages occurred during transport may be excluded from exchange or refund. Goods with manufacturer warranty are supplied with back-to-base warranty, i.e. postage related to the return of goods is not our responsibility. Notifications of returns, complaints or quality issues must be made within 5 days of receipt of the goods. Please note that delivery/shipping costs of defective products are non-refundable. Our liability is limited to the goods we have despatched. Any actual or financial damages caused by our goods, services or processes are excluded from any liability. We do not take responsibility for any products returned without a return authorisation by us. Personal preference or changing your mind is not considered a reason for return and refund. Please make sure that your choice of product is the correct product. E.g. products that have been ordered but do not fit your coffee machine cannot be refunded. Before we will replace a product, proof of purchase must be supplied and the defective product returned to CDA. A refund will only be issued to the extent required by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Commonwealth) and the respective state Sale of Goods Act legislation. Refunds for goods that may have been damaged in transport are governed by the Terms & Conditions of the respective carrier.
